How to value your Allien Worlds NFTs
Alien Worlds (TLM) forms a simulated economy where players compete with NFTs. It is an Innovative Metaverse where everything is tokenized. In fact, Alien Worlds allows players to participate in a virtual economy and compete for the in-game currency, Trilium (TLM). Trilium can be used to enforce players' power in the game by staking and voting in Planet Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (Planet DAOs). Both planets and players compete for TLM, leading to intense competition and collaboration between alliances. The live Alien Worlds price today is $0.076794 USD with a 24-hour trading volume of $13,691,140 USD.
Alien Worlds has become the most popular blockchain game on the market in terms of daily active unique wallets. It is also now #1 of All Blockchain Dapps (surpassing Uniswap) , #1 Blockchain Game and #1 WAX Dapp. Over the last 7 days, Alien Words counted over 98.29M transactions made to dapp’s smart contracts with more than 488 thousands unique active wallets. Let's take a deeper look at why this game truly represents a gamified investment opportunity.

Core mechanics of game activities
Alien Worlds is an NFT DeFi metaverse, running on the Ethereum, WAX and BSC (Binance Smart Chain) blockchain, therefore it is important to understand the core mechanics of game activities. As stated in the Alien World Technical Blueprint, on chain components of the Metaverse include:
Trilium token (TLM)
All non fungible tokens
All core game play including the mining game, fighting game and further game actions such as quests
DAO governance and voting including staking
Database of Planets
In other words, players can acquire NFTs to mine TLM, engage in battles, and complete in-game quests. Depending on their strategy, players may purchase and assemble NFTs that best suit their gameplay. For instance, using suitable NFTs, players can mine TLM from different planets or stake TLM to earn rewards in TLM and NFTs and stake Trilium to Planets to increase the Planet’s reward pool. Additionally, players may engage in governance by participating in weekly elections for the Councillors of six Planet DAOs, and thereby influence the direction of the game.
TLM reaches out to a wider audience
In April 2021, the TLM token was launched on Binance, which opened up Trilium to a wider audience across different blockchains. The project has raised 2.5MM USD from two rounds of private token sales. For now, it has a circulating supply of 914,030,370 TLM coins and a maximum supply of 10,000,000,000 TLM coins.
Indeed, Trilium is the native utility token of the Alien Worlds metaverse and has the following use cases: Planet Governance; Staking; In-Game Currency; Gameplay Incentives. Additionally, players may also purchase in-game items which are minted as NFTs. The involvement of NFTs brings an additional layer of uniqueness to the game as it creates a variety of new opportunities for players rather than just relying on the game itself. Players may also trade NFTs on BSC and WAX which enriches the purposes of the game by providing a speculative element as a potential art market. There are 6 different types of NFTs, each of them has different rarity and shininess levels.
Consider Alien Worlds NFT value
NFT game cards can be purchased on secondary markets. In addition, players may also receive an NFT game card while mining for Trilium in the game. The NFT game cards include Land on Planets, Tools, Weapons, Avatars, Minions, and Artifacts.
After signing up, each player receives Standard Avatar. The avatar is used for mining. These are also NFT game cards. Avatars offered by the Federation include: Greys, Reptiloids, Little Green Persons, Nordics, and Robotrons. Some types of Avatars differ by rarity which is the key element for valuing them, as genuine utility is still lacking in the game. For instance, the average price of legendary avatars is about $124, while standard avatars, which by the way are given for free upon signing up, are priced at $0.09 and $0.1 respectively on the secondary market.
Rarity and Shiness - key attributes
There are six different levels of rarity for Digital Items in Alien Worlds - Abundant, Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythical. These are common for all NFTs within Alien Worlds. Rarer NFTs have greater mining and fighting powers. The rare cards could be only found within the sales packs with different probabilities of having cards of the six different rarities or on the secondary market.
There are also 4 different levels of shininess - Stone, Gold, Stardust, and Antimatter. However, shininess is not the same thing as rarity. Lower-level items can be forged together to increase their shine and attributes. The only way to acquire NFTs of greater shininess is to shine them yourself! The process of shining turns them from stone to gold, then stardust, then antimatter. In order to shine up the card, four same NFTs cards and some TLM should be used. All NFTs except lands might be shined up. The amount of Trilium depends on the shininess and rarity of the NFTs you’re shining up. After being shined up, NFTs will have better stats. They will also be much rarer and therefore might be stored for your own collecting pleasure. In consequence, a shined item is more valuable - average Stone Tools could be purchased for about $8, while Stardust items are worth about $380.
Land NFT purposes
The land is one of the key NFT types. It is a series of NFTs which represent parcels of land on the Planets in Alien Worlds. There are 6 Planets, each of them is a decentralised autonomous community and therefore has its own elected government. In addition, the 7th planet has been discovered recently in Alien Worlds -the Binance Planet. Special missions of Planet Binance will take place soon.
The land is needed for mining. There are 20 different types of Land- each one has its own mining attributes — some give more Trilium, some increase the chance of an NFT payout, some allow mining more frequently. Landowners can either mine it themselves or charge players who mine on their land through the Commission. The Commission is a % of the total Trilium rewards per mine. Landowners can set their Commission themselves in order to attract some players, but the standard one is 20%. In fact, landowners get potential future income from the following elements: 1) Daily Trilium Allocation to Landowners (DTAL) + 2) Commissions earned from mining activity on your land. According to Alien Worlds technical blueprint, four times a month (roughly every week) all Landownersof opened packs will receive a payment from the Daily Trilium Allocation to Landowners(DTAL). The Land Rating (described under “Land” section) will determine the amount they receive. To landowner = Daily allocation from locked box *0.2 * landrating / totallandrating. Even if the land rating feature has not yet been released, DTAL (weekly) is around 600 TLM.
On the other hand, landowners charge commission from players mining on their land. Some landowners charge only 1% commission for their land. This drives a lot of landowners to have to compete in terms of the commission charged. Indeed, the passive income of landowners turns land into an attractive NFT investment.
The land pre-sale already took place, in total there were 3,000 Land Packs for sale, distributed across the 6 Planets. The opening price for Land Pack was 12,570 WAX or 0.7457 ETH. The only way to get land is by either buying Land packs on the secondary markets, or by buying Land NFTs from other Explorers on secondary markets. It is worth noting that land generated the top sales. All sales over $20,000 came from land, making this type of NFT the most valuable in terms of average sales.
Tools required for mining
As a new explorer, everyone gets a shovel to start with, but once you get a chance to find another tool, or get one in an Alien Worlds pack, it will greatly aid your mining efforts. In fact, Tool NFTs enable mining. In total there are more than 100 different tools, each with different technical features, rarity, and shininess. In addition, each tool has different strengths, charge time, and stats that affect how much Trilium share players can mine and in some cases also get an Alien Worlds NFT. For example, a Glavor Disc is good for finding NFTs and a Lucky Drill will mine much faster than a standard drill.
Players can use up to 3 tools at a same time and if 3 tools are used - the one comes with the shortest charge time free of any extra delays. The average price of Standard Drill is about $0.24 that is more than 5 times higher than Standard Shovel (about $0.04). Technical parameters increase within different levels of rarity and shininess. The better the performance of a tool, the more valuable it becomes.
Land and tools are two types of NFTs that are crucial to mining activities. For the moment, Alien Word focuses mainly on mining activities which constitute current gameplay options. However, Alien Worlds features other NFTs, such as weapons, artifacts and minions. These are not yet required, but await the launch of the Thunderdome battle mode gameplay.
Thunderdome mode features
The Thunderdome battles mode is about explorers getting to put their Minions into fights against other Minions. It represents a potentially attractive gameplay concerning different battle game formats where the minions and weapons could be used. The Minion and Weapons attributes will play a large role but Minion orders, Artifact effects, Planetary Power and Thunderdome Phase bonuses will also affect the battle results. However, Alien Worlds has not provided a release date yet.
Minions are the NFTs used in the fighting game, eagerly awaiting the games in the Thunderdome mode. Minions are an explorers crew that they will use in battles. They have 5 main attributes beyond the standard Alien Worlds NFT attributes - Attack; Defence; MoveCost; Race; Element. There are twelve minions in the launch set. Some of the rare minions possess specific battlefield elements. Minions have a lot of potential when the Thunderdome mode will be available.
Minions can be equipped with one Weapon NFTs as well and can gain extra power from choosing Weapons which work in combination with their race or element. Weapons have both an attack rating and a defensive rating. Therefore, once the Thunderdome opens an interactive storyline events promise spectacular new features to the Alien Words ecosystem, increasing Minions and Weapons value.
Summary
Despite being in the development stage, Alien Words has already become the world #1 of All Blockchain Dapps. It provides an interesting concept of reuniting the NFT and DeFi metaverse. It certainly has a lot of potential to grow and some very promising updates that will only increase game interest attracting new players. Therefore, by introducing new features in the Alien Worlds ecosystem, such as Thunderdome mode, it will definitely increase the value of NFTs.
